St Catharine’s College at Cambridge University announces Junior Research Fellowship Competition 2007

The Governing Body of St Catharine's College invites applications from women and men for election to two stipendiary Research Fellowships, tenable from October 2008 for three years, for research in the Humanities and Social Sciences. These cover the subjects identified in Cambridge as: Anglo Saxon, Archaeology & Anthropology, Architecture, Classics, Economics, Education, English, Geography, History, History of Art, Land Economy, Law, Management Studies, Modern Languages, Music, Oriental Studies, Philosophy, Social & Political Sciences, Theology.

Fellowships are intended to support those at an early stage in their academic careers and will normally be awarded to those who have recently completed their PhD research or are close to completion.

The Electors will make a select list of candidates who by mid January 2008 will be invited to submit dissertations or other written work. The work, which should be around 25,000 words in length, should arrive within 14 days of the invitation.
