The Zumberge Individual Awards provide research grants of up to $25,000 to support faculty from all fields and disciplines in developing
sustained research programs. In particular, the Individual Awards are
designed to help the university's junior faculty and new faculty in
launching their research careers at USC. The program is limited to
those faculty who do not already have large external grants or
significant start-up funding.

The application deadline is January 15, 2008.
