The first decade of the 21st century has witnessed some dramatic changes in the post-war trade regime centered on the multilateralism of the GATT/WTO. Most notably, we have seen the proliferation of free trade agreements (FTAs) across the globe, while the current WTO Doha Round shows no indication of progress. This roundtable will discuss the complex and evolving state of FTAs and draw business and policy implications for the U.S.
