The Center for International Studies (CIS) is pleased to announce the 2005 award competition supporting doctoral research on topics addressing international business and international economics. The awards are open to USC international studies and political economy doctoral students (students from the Marshall School of Business are not eligible).

Applications for this award must include:

  • an outline of the dissertation research proposal (one page)
  • a brief memorandum explaining how this award would enable the student to incorporate international business in their dissertation
  • a cover-sheet including name, address, telephone, email and social security number

Two awards of $1,000 each are available. Selection will be based on quality and originality of the proposal and logistical feasibility of conducting the research. Awards will be announced in April.

*Grant is provided by USC’s federally funded Center for Business Education and Research (CIBEAR)
