CIS provides several research and funding opportunities for its members and students.

Member opportunites – CIS provides several research and funding opportunities for its members including research assistants and a variety of short term faculty research grants designed to facilitate faculty research.

Student opportunities – includes four research assistantships, two dissertation fellowships, an essay competition, International Business Dissertation and Research (CIBER) fellowships, and a variety of small grants designed to support research related to the Ph.D. The deadline for most CIS competitions falls in mid-March of each year.

Post-Doctoral Fellowship Competiton – Each year the Center hosts one visiting scholar providing them with a stipend, office space, USC library privileges, health insurance, $1000 toward moving expenses and computer support. The call is put out in late Fall and applications are generally due in December.
